Dec 14, 2025 Presented on “Event-Based Vision for Space Navigation” at the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) in the University of Minnesota.
Nov 22, 2025 Our workshop paper “Quantifying Accuracy of an Event-Based Star Tracker via Earth’s Rotation” was presented at ICCV conference in Hawaii. This work proposes a new way of evaluating event-based star trackers and shows that their overall accuracy is competitive with conventional state-of-the-art.
Aug 21, 2025 Presented our abstract on “Leveraging Spatiotemporal Event Distributions for Point-Object Tracking” at the Optica Computational Optical Sensing and Imaging (COSI) conference in Seattle. This helped summarize our group’s work in event-based imaging over the last couple years.
Jun 21, 2025 Our paper “Centroiding Point-Objects With Event Cameras” won the best paper award at the IEEE International Conference on Computational Photography (ICCP) conference in Toronto! This continued our event-based star tracking work with a more general point-object tracking algorithm.
May 12, 2025 Our work titled “EBS-EKF: Accurate and High Frequency Event-based Star Tracking” was presented as a highlight (2.98% of total papers) at CVPR 2025 in Tennessee! This paper encapsulates our work on neuromorphic star tracking and its advantages over traditional methods and previous state of the art.
